Fordite and Leland blue designed into a sailboat. Fordite is from the paint booths at Ford motor company. It was scraped from the walls & pipes in the booths & dumped into the dumps. Thankfully some was taken home & then jewelers discovered it & a new line of jewelry was born. We set our Fordite in sterling silver. Over all size is about 1 1/2″ x 1″. When it is gone it is gone, cars are not painted in the same way today. Colors in this piece are red, black, white and blue. Leland blue is from Leland Michigan, a glass slag from the Pig Iron factories.
